Sons watch as dad is shot dead on I-280

(04-10) 19:28 PDT San Francisco -- Luis "Al" Solari picked up his two sons from school Wednesday after a 10-hour day installing appliances, then began the rush-hour drive south on Interstate 280 to get his wife at the end of her workday.

As the 37-year-old Richmond resident battled traffic and the fading sunlight, he apparently cut off another motorist near Alemany Boulevard - and was fatally shot for it, police said Thursday.

His sons, seat-belted in the back of the burgundy Honda as Solari slumped over, could do nothing as the car spun from one side of the freeway to the other before stopping in some ice plants. They were not injured, but their father was dead.

Police said the shooting, the second deadly assault on a Bay Area freeway in a week, was the result of road rage by someone in a car that pulled alongside Solari's car and fired several shots. Investigators said they had little to go on other than that the shooter was in a light-colored sedan with two other men.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call San Francisco police homicide investigators at (415) 553-1145.

At the family's home on Thursday, Solari's youngest son, 7-year-old Lorenzo, matter-of-factly recounted what happened to his dad.

"I saw three guys in a car," said the boy, his mother at his side. "They were making a mean face at Daddy and Daddy made a mean face at them.

"One of the guys in the car stuck his hand out the window and shot Daddy in the tummy. He prayed and fell down," the boy said. "He was breathing and then he stopped. I looked at his stomach and he was bleeding. And then his mouth was bleeding."

Solari's wife, meanwhile, was on a San Francisco street corner, at Mission and Foote, waiting for him and her children.

"I called him at 6:20 and chewed him out on his voice mail. He's never late," said Lilia Guzman-Solari, 30, who recently returned to work as an administrative assistant at UCSF after taking time off to raise her children.

She became worried, calling again at 6:40. By 7 p.m. she was furious, thinking he had taken the boys to a baseball game and forgotten about her. She called him a few more times, then walked to her cousin's house, where a housemate mentioned a fatal accident on I-280.

"After that it was chaotic," she said Thursday, her eyes welling. "I was yelling. We went to the hospital and they told me he was gone."

Solari had worked as an appliance installer and truck driver for 18 years at Cherin's Appliance in San Francisco's Mission District. He had an excellent driving record and no problems with anger or road rage, his employer said.

"He was the sweetest, most pleasurable guy to be around," said co-owner Donald Cherin, who hired Solari just after Solari graduated from San Francisco's Mission High. "Even under stress, he was never frazzled."

On his days off, Solari often helped friends move or work on their house projects.

Around his neighborhood in Richmond's Iron Triangle, he acted as a father figure to dozens of youngsters. He played baseball and basketball with them, took them to games, barbecued hot dogs for them and always welcomed them into his home, neighbors said.

"There are a lot of single moms here, and he helped them out and helped nurture all the children," said Audrey Antoine, who has lived down the street from the family for about nine years. "The children will have a real void in their lives. Al will truly, truly be missed."

Solari was looking forward to hosting a barbecue for family and friends later this month to celebrate his 38th birthday. After that, he and his wife were going to start looking for a new house, someplace safer to raise their children.

Now, everything's on hold. Guzman-Solari said her main priority is helping her sons cope with witnessing their father's violent death.

"I have to be calm and strong for them," she said. "If they see me fall apart, they'll fall apart."

On April 3, a woman driving a car on Interstate 80 in Pinole was shot and killed. A suspect was arrested in that case Wednesday in Las Vegas. On April 1, a man driving on the same stretch of freeway was shot and injured near Hilltop Drive in Richmond.

If the 2005 nfl draft was redid..It might looks like this

I posted pick #1-#10..If you want to peep the rest of Draft..Peep

Scouts Inc.'s philosophy is that it takes three years to judge a player. Based upon that thinking, we went back to look at how the 2005 draft should have gone. Redoing the 2005 draft was no easy task, mainly because it was not a very good draft class. In fact, three years later, some players are just now starting to develop.

We have the Chargers taking the inconsistent wide receiver Vincent Jackson a round earlier than they took him back in 2005. Atlanta WR Roddy White is just now showing signs of being a No. 1, and he moves up in this draft. Derek Anderson, who was a sixth-round pick in Baltimore, is currently the starter in Cleveland and thus is taken ahead of Alex Smith, Aaron Rodgers and Jason Campbell in this draft.

This poor draft class may also mean that the 2009 free agency class is going to leave a lot to be desired. Regardless, here is the new-look 2005 first round. (Blame the players --not us-- for the lackluster quality overall.)

1. San Francisco 49ers -- LB Shawne Merriman, Maryland
'05 team needs: QB, FS, WR, DE, CB, OLB, RB, C

Actual selection: QB Alex Smith, Utah
It's still too early to tell if Smith is a bust. But if he can't produce for new offensive coordinator Mike Martz, who knows how to develop quarterbacks, the bust label fits. Even if Smith improves, he will never be as good as Merriman, who would be a great fit in the 49ers' 3-4 scheme and has future Hall of Famer written all over him.

2. Miami Dolphins -- LB DeMarcus Ware, Troy
'05 team needs: RB, QB, OLB, WR, DE, DT, OT, S
Actual selection: RB Ronnie Brown, Auburn
It's fitting for the Dolphins to draft Ware. Bill Parcells obviously likes Ware, having drafted him in Dallas in 2005. The Cowboys have played a hybrid 3-4 defense, and Ware was the second-best player in this draft behind Merriman. Brown has been solid, but he hasn't been able to carry a dismal offense over the past few years.

3. Cleveland Browns -- OT Jammal Brown, Oklahoma
'05 team needs: QB, OT, NT, ILB, S, CB, DE, WR
Actual selection: WR Braylon Edwards, Michigan
It would be hard to argue against selecting Edwards, who was one of the top players in this class. However, we are looking back to 2005 and at that time the Browns had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL without current LT Joe Thomas. Based on the state of the offensive line back then, the Browns should not have passed on Brown, who is now an excellent starting left tackle.

4. Chicago Bears -- WR Braylon Edwards, Michigan
'05 Team needs: RB, TE, WR, G, OLB, QB, DT, CB
Actual selection: RB Cedric Benson, Texas
Benson has underachieved to this point. Had the Bears drafted Edwards, they would have kept RB Thomas Jones, who should still be the Bears' starter since Benson never actually beat him out. Jones was traded for one reason: to justify the drafting of Benson, who did nothing to quiet the skeptics in 2007, his first season as the starter.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- RB Frank Gore, Miami
'05 team needs: RB, WR, OLB, SS, G, DT, QB, OT, DE, CB
Actual selection: RB Carnell Williams, Auburn
Ironically, the knock against Gore -- that he was injury-prone -- has actually been the case for Williams. In retrospect, Gore, who has missed only three games in three years compared to Williams' 16, should have been the selection.

6. Tennessee Titans -- RB Ronnie Brown, Auburn
'05 team needs: CB, ROT, WR, RB, K, C, ILB, QB, TE
Actual selection: CB Adam Jones, West Virginia
The Titans would have rather taken anyone instead of Jones, whose off-the-field issues resulted in his being suspended for the entire 2007 season. The Titans' running game has been inconsistent without a featured back. Brown fits here, considering what he did running behind a bad Dolphins offensive line. We think he could have put up big-time numbers in Tennessee.

7. Minnesota Vikings -- OG Logan Mankins, Fresno State
'05 team needs: RG, WR, DE, K, DT, C, QB
Actual selection: WR Troy Williamson, South Carolina
Even though offensive guard is not an issue right now, in 2005 the Vikings' No. 1 need was a right guard; Mankins has been the most productive guard from the 2005 class. With an interior O-line of Steve Hutchinson at left guard, Matt Birk at center and Mankins at right guard, the Vikings would boast the NFL's best inside trio.

8. Arizona Cardinals -- OT Michael Roos, Eastern Washington
'05 team needs: RB, CB, TE, DT, G, OT, OLB, QB
Actual selection: CB Antrel Rolle, Miami
Roos was selected in the second round by the Titans and has been one of the best offensive tackles from this class. Since 2005, the Cardinals have been trying to resolve their offensive line issues, and Roos could have helped them tremendously. The Cardinals line is better today than it was then, but Roos would have turned the position from a question mark into an exclamation point.

9. Washington Redskins -- MLB Lofa Tatupu, USC
'05 team needs: ILB, DE, CB, DT, SS, G, TE
Actual selection: CB Carlos Rogers, Auburn
The No. 1 need for the Redskins in 2005 was inside linebacker. Tatupu went in the second round to Seattle and is now one of the best inside linebackers in the NFL. While Rogers can't stay healthy, Tatupu would have been the leader Washington has been lacking on defense.

10. Detroit Lions -- QB Derek Anderson, Oregon State
'05 team needs: ROT, DE, S, ILB, DT, QB, TE, WR
Actual selection: WR Mike Williams, USC
Anderson is the best quarterback in this class and was taken in the sixth round by Baltimore. Anderson moved on to Cleveland and will enter the season as the Browns' No. 1. He still has a lot to prove, but he is further along than first-rounders Smith, Rodgers and Campbell.

COMME DES GARÇONS X H&M

COMME DES GARÇONS IN COLLABORATION WITH H&M THIS AUTUMN

Comme des Garçons’ founder and head designer Rei Kawakubo will create this autumn’s guest designer collection at H&M. Rei Kawakubo, famous and admired for her creativity and artistry, will design a women’s and a men’s collection, with some pieces for children too. Accessories and an exclusive unisex fragrance will also be included in the collection.

"I have always been interested in the balance between creation and business. It is a dilemma, although for me creation has always been the first priority. It is a fascinating challenge to work with H&M since it is a chance to take the dilemma to its extreme, and try to solve it", says Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garçons.

“Rei Kawakubo has been at the top of our wish list for a long time and we are thrilled that she has chosen to collaborate with us. We have tremendous respect for Kawakubo’s fashion philosophy of questioning fashion’s ingrained patterns, and admire her artistic approach to design. We are particularly excited that the collection will be launched in Japan, Kawakubo’s native country, at the same time as the launch of our new store there", explains Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor, H&M.

The world launch of the collection will be at the opening of H&M’s second store in Tokyo, Japan, in the beginning of November. Launch date for other H&M markets will be a few days later.

Comme des Garçons Ltd was established in 1973 as a company based on creativity and originality. Always pushing the frontiers of design and never accepting the status quo, Comme des Garcons now produces 14 different brands and employs nearly 700 people, with shops in over 25 countries.

Holy Sheep Shit....If your in Indonesia and surf Internet Porn..Watch your back

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7313497.stm

Indonesia acts on internet porn
Computer internet website search for pornography

Indonesia's parliament has passed a bill criminalising those who access internet sites containing violent or pornographic material.

Anyone found guilty of the new offence could be jailed for up to three years, or have to pay a heavy fine.

The legislation allows the courts to accept electronic material as evidence in cases involving internet abuse.

One of those involved in drafting the bill said children, in particular, needed protection from online images.

It passed with wide majority support from all 10 factions in the chamber.

"I think we all agree there's no way we can save this nation by spreading pornography, violence and ethnic hostility", said the Information Minister, Mohammad Nuh.

Special software

Another MP said that current legislation failed properly to address pornography in the electronic media, and that access to it was far too easy.

The intention is to start implementing restrictions on sites containing banned material next month, using special software.

There was an outcry from hardline Muslim groups two years ago when Playboy magazine began publishing in Indonesia. The protest forced the magazine's editorial team to move their office to Bali.

A court later cleared the magazine's editor of distributing indecent pictures to the public and making money from them.

The BBC's Lucy Williamson in Jakarta says that stronger pornographic material continues to be widely available in Indonesia.

This has prompted a vigorous debate in recent years, exposing deep divisions in a country where 85% of the population follows Islam.
